The person behind both

Hello, I’m Ellie

A little background

Two very different jobs, one pair of eyes

I film weddings and I shoot property. On paper those have nothing to do with each other — and honestly, that is why this website has two front doors. A couple planning the biggest day of their lives should not have to scroll past floor plans to find me.

But the two feed each other more than you would think. Property taught me to read light in a room, to work quickly, and to hit a deadline without excuses. Weddings taught me to notice the small things — the glance, the hand squeeze, the thing nobody else caught. Both are really the same skill: showing something as it actually is, at its best.

I keep it small on purpose. Fewer people means a calmer room, and a calmer room means better work. I film weddings on my own; when a couple wants photography as well, a second shooter I have worked with for years comes with me. Either way, you are dealing with me directly from the first email to the final file.
